Outlook 2016 shared mailbox not updating
You can’t see Office 365 shared calendars or shared contacts on your phone. Easy to see shared calendars and contacts in Outlook. It would appear on the phone as if the employee had an extra account.
Although I’m going to talk about a couple of workarounds, you should start with the strange but true reality: the system isn’t built for it and there’s no good way to do it. They can be displayed easily enough in webmail once someone shows you where to click. If the mailbox is only being used for a company calendar and company address book, then the employee should probably turn off sync for mail, reminders and notes on the phone, as in the above screen shot.
The easiest way to verify this is the problem is to log in to your Outlook Web Mail, if you are using Office 365 you can log in at https://portal.using your username and password.
If you can see the appointments in your shared calendars online then the issue is more than likely due to the cache on your Outlook needing refreshing, here are the steps to fix the problem: Please note.
They are supported on every device imaginable, from Windows and Mac computers to the native mail/contact/calendar apps on i OS and Android. You can select any or all and have them displayed with color coded entries. Microsoft hasn’t updated the i Phone version of OWA since December. You can set up a shared mailbox and let everyone access it on their phones in addition to their primary Office 365 mailbox. The term “shared mailbox” is a term of art in Office 365.
The final version is scheduled to be available in late 2015 and will probably ship at the same time as Exchange 2016. An Office 365 Group is represented as a group object in Azure Active Directory (AAD).This first came to light when a new PC was provisioned for this employee and they logged into Outlook. The inbox had literally thousands of emails in, all of which had been handled and cleared away previously.See if the user can login and see all the email, move an email to another folder then check in Outlook. If the email has been moved but Outlook does not see it, I woudl move her mailbox to another database.
It seems that changes she makes to her inbox are not being made server side.
